Meet The Photographer
I grew up surrounded by the forests and hills of Jharkhand – and somewhere between the rustling sal trees and the first time I raised a camera to photograph a bird in flight, I realised that wildlife photography was not a hobby. It was the way I see the world.
I’m Aleek Sen – a bird, wildlife, and landscape photographer, and the founder of The Shutter Pro. I shoot exclusively with Nikon gear, built for the demanding light and speed in wild subjects.
My post-processing workflow is where raw captures become finished stories. I work with Topaz Photo AI for recovering fine feather and fur detail, Skylum Luminar Neo for creative tonal edits, the Nik Collection for specialised effects, and Adobe Photoshop for the final polish.
I started The Shutter Pro for three reasons: to share what I’ve learned so other photographers don’t make the same mistakes I did, to build a community of serious wildlife photographers, and to document my own journey honestly.
Nature is my greatest teacher. It’s in the Mountains, Forests, Wildlife, and Oceans that I find my true inspiration.
My mission is not just to capture the wild, but to inspire the journey.
